Established in 2008, Iowa Claims Service has since opened offices in Denison, Des Moines, Fort Dodge, Mason City, Sioux City, Storm Lake/Spencer, and Waterloo. Our HAAG-certified company has been serving the state of Iowa for almost a decade now.
Iowa Claims Service was formed in December of 2008 with the aim of better serving and adapting to the specific needs of our clients. By following our aim diligently over the years, we have truly become an independent adjusting company. Meet The Team
Eric Loerts, a partner / owner, joined the firm as a field adjuster in 1994 following his graduation from Iowa Central Community College with a degree in Law Enforcement.
He attended the Vale Institute concerning their course in casualty adjusting. He then became a partner in Crocker Claims Service of Northwest Iowa in 2004.
Mr. Loerts specializes in handling commercial and homeowner property claims, auto, and commercial and homeowner losses. Eric is a Haag-Certified Roof Inspector (ID#201202155).
Michael Loerts is a partner/owner. He has degrees in business management and psychology. He has worked as a field adjuster for both Crawford and Co. and State Auto Insurance Company.
After purchasing the Crocker Claims Service office in Fort Dodge, IA, Crocker Claims of NW Iowa was established in 1989. It was at that time that multiple office locations were formed across the state of Iowa.
In December 2008, Iowa Claims Service was founded. Mr. Loerts is a career adjuster who is proficient in handling multi-line claims with expertise in all lines of insurance coverage.
Thomas joined Iowa Claims Service in 2022 after a career in the mining industry. His time spent as an explosive technician and heavy machine operator has led to invaluable knowledge with respect to heavy equipment and auto appraisals. Thomas also specializes in residential, commercial and agricultural property losses.
Jodi joined Iowa Claims Service in 2020 as an administrative assistant and has since taken on the dual role of business manager. Jodi is a highly organized task-master who helps lighten the load so our adjusters can efficiently handle your claims.
